Dr. Dale Garland
Pastor Dale is a graduate of Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary (Gateway Seminary). He has pastored in California for 25 years. He leads, encourages and strengthens Christian men and women as they reach new levels in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
He and his wife Susan have 3 children.
Pastor Cliff is a Hemet native and a charter member of Hemet Valley Baptist. Not only is he our Administrative leader, he is also our Minister of Music. He has a passion for making music worshipful, whether the music is traditional or contemporary.
He began leading worship at HVBC as a volunteer in 1992 and began serving on staff in 2008.
He and his wife Lynne have 4 children. They reside in Hemet
Pastor Joe is an adjunct professor of Old Testament at California Baptist University and a Ph.d. student at Gateway Seminary. He also serves on the Southern Baptist Disaster Relief Team. He shares his faith internationally, serves on the worship team, and works with interns who are called to ministry.
Akila grew up as a part of the HVBC family. She is a graduate of California Baptist University and has served overseas as a High School teacher instructing students in Old and New Testament Surveys. Akila’s smile is the first thing you will see in the reception office, and her voice is the first voice you hear when you call.
Melody is a charter member of HVBC. She began serving on staff as our church secretary in 2008 and moved to the position of Ministerial Assistant in 2012 where she assists Pastor Dale and his Associate Pastors to coordinate and carry out ministry tasks.
Emma and her family have been members at HVBC for more than 20 years. Emma coordinates our Church calendar and oversees that each of the ministry activities occur in harmony. She is also the Secretary for the AWANA Ministry and the Leader of the Eyes That 'C' Puppet Team.
Mike and his family have been members of HVBC since 2009. Mike has wide variety of knowledge in all areas of facility maintenance and janitorial, giving him the opportunity to further Gods kingdom by maintaining His Church.
